Companies are seeking to extend their rich media assets and brands across multiple channels. The challenge is to create rich media assets and applications in a way that enables them to be easily re-deployed and reused in different formats. For example, many companies are interested in reusing Web content in an interactive television format, as well as augmenting broadcasts with a Web experience. The opportunity is to provide an enriched experience to attract, grow and retain viewers, ultimately leading to greater branding, advertising and commerce opportunities.

Using Vignette's customer-driven applications, Concero's prototypes demonstrate Concero's framework for creating compelling experiences across the entire spectrum of interactive devices. The Vignette-based prototypes highlight how to build stronger relationships and learn more about viewers through interactive advertising, commerce and "virtual channels." The prototypes deliver content and functionality through the leading television set-top platforms including Motorola (Motorola, Inc., Schaumburg, IL, www.motorola.com) A leading manufacturer of semiconductor devices, electronics, telecommunications and satellite systems. Beyond demonstrating the technology, the prototypes help companies envision the future capabilities of interactive television and prove Concero's ability to deliver these solutions today.

"Concero focuses on providing media, entertainment, and communications clients with new ways to manage content and applications across multiple channels," said Tim Webb, president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. By doing so, we have enabled our clients to more easily create, store, manage, and deliver compelling content and interactive services. Our solution uses Vignette as the core, and we've built upon Vignette's content management application to help our clients find, keep and grow their customer audiences via Web, wireless and now, iTV."

Concero will demonstrate the Vignette-based iTV prototypes during Vignette Village 2001 to be held May 21 through May 23 in Austin, Texas. The demonstrations will take place at Concero's corporate headquarters in Austin. For more information, or to schedule a viewing appointment, contact Jody Ruch at 512/342-3503 or jruch@concero.com.
