Concerned about IBC.[ILLUSTRATION OMITTED] Thanks for the article on breast cancer ("Winning the Battle Against Breast Cancer," October October: see month. 2007). It is a topic that many are uninformed about and unaware oh. There really needs to be more information on the various types of cancer, especially inflammatory breast cancer inflammatory breast cancer Oncology Breast CA characterized by ↑ warmth, redness, swelling caused by cancer cells blocking skin lymphatics; skin has a pitted “peau d'orange” appearance. Causing fright or alarm. 2. Easily scared; very timid. scar thought. I know a couple of women with IBC that went undetected and their cancer has progressed. I have regular mammograms but this doesn't console me since these women did the same. I think the public needs to be made more aware of IBC because it is killing women at a rapid pace.
