Concer to acquires Rockwell FirstPoint Contact.
Concerto Software, a provider of contact center solutions, has announced its acquisition of Rockwell FirstPoint Contact from Rockwell Automation, Inc., a provider of industrial automation power, control and information solutions. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. With this transaction, Concerto Software significantly expands its geographic reach and intellectual capital. The company will continue to offer products and services designed to communications-enable the business processes surrounding sales and marketing, collections and customer service. Concerto will continue to be privately held by Golden Gate Capital, Oak Investment Partners, Concerto Software management and others. Former Rockwell FirstPoint Contact president, Terry Murphy, will assume the role of executive vice president of corporate development for Concerto Software. The company will continue to be headquartered in Westford, Mass., and it will have more than 1,000 employees and more than 2,000 customers in 41 countries.
