Concentration crucial for Pumas.

JUAN MARTIN FERNANDEZ LOBBE believes concentration will be key to Argentina's hopes of beating Wales today.

Recent history is on the Pumas' side, with four victories from the last six starts against Wales.

But the Argentina skipper knows that Wales' reputation as a prolific attacking force makes them dangerous opponents.

"Wales represent a big, big threat for us," said the Toulon No8. "They will go out there and attack us, so we will need to be really ready.

"They have been playing very well for the last two years, it's a group that really believes in themselves.

"They have big carriers in the forwards, they have good playmakers at half-back and a full-back who is good under the high ball and attacks well.

"It's a good team so all of us need to be really focused in defence and not get distracted. If we get distracted for one second, we are not going to win this game."

While Argentina talk about showing more ambition than they did in losing 16-9 to England last Saturday, a mighty scrum remains their most potent weapon.

Wales boss Warren Gatland might not rate it as the world's best, but Fernandez Lobbe has little doubt how highly the front row of Rodrigo Roncero, Mario Ledesma and Martin Scelzo ranks.

"I believe they are maybe the best front row in the world," he added. "I look at them and they are massive in the scrum, they are running all over the park and making the tackles and trying to make the carries.

Ace Fernandez "So it's always nice to have them in your team. I am always going to be glad if I'm going to have Roncero, Ledesma and Scelzo in my scrum."

But despite dictating much of the tempo at Twickenham, Argentina failed to emulate their 2006 victory over England and it has been viewed in the Pumas' camp this week as a missed opportunity.

Martin Lobbe Scrum-half Alfredo Lalanne said: "We had a big chance to have won last Saturday.

"Our defence was brilliant, we just had one flaw when England scored."
