Concentra Announces Record Revenues and Fiscal Third Quarter Results Software Revenue up 106 Percent.

), a leading supplier of sales and engineering automation software solutions, today announced its financial results for the third quarter and the first nine months ending December December: see month.  31, 1996. Revenues for the third quarter of fiscal year 1997 were $7.9 million, an 86 percent increase over revenues of $4.3 million for the same period last year.

Net income for the third quarter was $802,000, or $0.14 per share, compared with a net loss of $1.2 million, or $0.23 per share, for the same period last year. Software revenue increased 106 percent to $6.3 million compared with $3.1 million during the third quarter of last year.

Revenues for the nine months ending December 31, 1996 were $20.0 million compared with $13.9 million for the same period last year, an increase of 44 percent. Net income for the nine-month period ending December 31, 1996 was $1.4 million, or $0.24 per share, compared with a net loss of $815,000, or $0.15 per share, for the same period last year. Included in net income for the current period was an after tax gain of $329,000 from the sale of securities held by a subsidiary. Software revenue for the first nine months of fiscal 1997 increased 77 percent to $14.7 million from $8.3 million for the first nine months of last year.
