Ron Bishop Ron Bishop (born 1943 in Woodland, Washington) is an off-road motorcycle racer from the United States. Bishop is best known for his participation in the Baja 1000, where he holds the distinction of being the only racer to have competed in every Baja 1000 on a motorcycle. , ConSyGen's president and chief executive officer, stated: "The signing of these Teaming Agreements demonstrates ConSyGen's continued commitment to addressing the Year 2000 problem Year 2000 problem, Y2K problem, or millennium bug, in computer science, a design flaw in the hardware or software of a computer that caused erroneous results when working with dates beyond Dec. 31, 1999.  wherever it occurs, and to providing the widest possible market for our Year 2000 solution.

"The Year 2000 problem is one of the first truly world-wide computing problems, and awareness of its significance is now growing strongly in South-East Asia. The companies involved - Millennium IT (Thailand) Ltd. in Thailand and Millennium IT Inc. in the Philippines, are both well-positioned to introduce the ConSyGen 2000 to the widest range of business and government clients, and over the range of hardware platforms addressed by ConSyGen."

He added: "These appointments expand the ConSyGen presence already established in Singapore, and we expect early business growth from throughout the entire region. The expansion into these countries is very timely, particularly as world-wide staff shortages are making manual Year 2000 approaches untenable - unless an automated solution such as ConSyGen 2000 is adopted quickly, whole countries may find themselves impacted by the Year 2000 crisis."

Jeff Richards, newly appointed as director of international sales and marketing, commented: "My recent review of operations in South-East Asia underlines both the urgency to proceed with Year 2000 solutions in the area and the interest of businesses and government agencies to avoid dependence on non-automated solutions. Our message has been very well received, and ConSyGen is well-placed through these partnerships to respond to the urgent needs of their clients."
