ConEdison Solutions wins NAESCO accreditation.


ConEdison Solutions has qualified for accreditation accreditation,
n a process of formal recognition of a school or institution attesting to the required ability and performance in an area of education, training, or practice.
 as an Energy Service Provider by the National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO NAESCO National Association of Energy Service Companies ), a national trade association that has been promoting the benefits of the widespread use of energy efficiency for over 20 years. There are only 11 NAESCO-accredited Energy Service Providers in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. .

NAESCO sponsors a rigorous accreditation program for energy service businesses offering energy efficiency design and implementation services to recognize capabilities and experience. Companies seeking NAESCO accreditation must apply to a NAESCO committee of industry experts and undergo an intensive examination of their competencies, past customer projects, and business practices.

NAESCO offers three categories of accreditation for companies in the energy service business: Energy Service Provider, Energy Service Company, and Energy Efficiency Contractor, with the most comprehensive accreditation being that of Energy Service Provider.
