ConEdison Solutions Enrolls Commercial Customers in Long Island Retail Choice Program.


WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 3, 1999--

ConEdison Solutions announced today that it has started supplying electricity to numerous large businesses in Long Island effective August 1st, becoming the first and only company to provide competitive electricity under Long Island Power Authority's (LIPA) Long Island Choice program.

Under the Long Island Choice program, customers can now choose to buy their electricity directly from an energy service provider such as ConEdison Solutions.
