Comverse Technology's messaging equipment to be implemented for BellSouth Mobility DCS for its digital wireless PCS network.


WOODBURY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 20, 1996--Comverse Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: CMVT CMVT Converse Technology ) announced today that it has received an initial order for the company's TRILOGUE(R) INfinity system, which will allow BellSouth Mobility DCS BellSouth Mobility DCS, LLC headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, was a BellSouth subsidiary.

BellSouth Mobility DCS operated 1900MHz GSM networks in a number of states in the South, clustered around South Carolina.
