The Comverse Real-Time Billing & Prepaid Solution delivers dynamic control of telephony services, including real-time rating of all services for all subscribers. This solution enables subscriber segmentation, flexible tariff setting, and improved customer care. Comverse's billing solution can manage many millions of active customer accounts simultaneously, with real-time authorization of every user request for voice, data and emerging m-payment services. The Comverse solution also imposes credit limits on all accounts, whether prepaid or postpaid, based on the user's ability to pay.

The Comverse Real-Time Converged Billing Solution offers the best of both prepaid and postpaid billing. The system offers a consistent administrative interface, a single tariff database and the ability to define and control multiple balances per user. Advanced Messaging Solutions

Comverse is highlighting a number of its advanced messaging services for 2.0, 2.5 and 3G networks at CommunicAsia2004.

MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) An enhanced transmission service that enables graphics, video clips and sound files to be transmitted via cellphones. Developed as part of the 3GPP project, MMS phones are generally backward compatible with SMS and EMS. : At CommunicAsia2004 Comverse will announce the availability of Compact MMSC, a smaller configuration of the Comverse Multimedia Messaging Service See MMS.  Center (MMSC) solution. Designed primarily as an entry-level MMSC solution for smaller operators, Compact MMSC is a cost-effective solution that enables rapid time to market. Compact MMSC is fully scalable to the standard Comverse MMSC solution that is designed for high capacity and availability.
