Approximately 1,000 companies -- 400 from Brazil -- participated in the worldwide selection process. After a series of activities in the course of one year, Comunique-se was one of the three companies selected to represent Brazil in the international round. The companies were evaluated on their entrepreneurship initiative, potential of business model, impact on the development of the country, innovation and ethical values. At the end of the selection process, merely 1% of the participating companies had been selected.
