Comunicacion Integral Certifies Eurologic's Voyager Series with Jaleo Post.

DUBLIN, Ireland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 29, 1997--Comunicacion Integral developer of high-end non-linear digital image editing and compositing systems for the Film, Video, Broadcast and Interactive markets has certified the Voyager Series from Eurologic Systems, to run with the Jaleo range of systems.

The Voyager Series is a range of Ultra SCSI storage and RAID solutions that has been designed to suit the demanding environment of video and broadcasting. A completely modular solution, Voyager supports the latest high capacity 9GB and 10,000 rpm drives, enabling the user to configure a system from 18 GB to Terabytes while sustaining the performance required for uncompressed video. All active components which could fail are redundant and hot swappable ensuring no video footage can be lost.

Voyager provides the data transfer rates required to reliably access multiple uncompressed streams of video data, which in turn allows Jaleo systems to perform video effects, like DVEs, Chroma Keys, or wipes and dissolves in real time. Jaleo integrates fully-featured digital video postproduction with unlimited-layer compositing, and the addition of real time effects brings a performance level to a computer workstation that was previously only known from dedicated traditional video equipment.
