Comter Systems Awarded $3 Million Contract from the U.S. Department of State.

Comter Systems, a proven implementation partner for government and commercial organizations (www.comter.com), today announced that they had been awarded a $3 million Operations and Maintenance Services contract from the U.S. Department of State. The contract is to support a PeopleSoft Human Resource Management System (HRMS) application known in the Department as the Global Employment Management System (GEMS).

Under the contract, which began on July 1, 2003, Comter's responsibilities include system modifications and special projects for the HRM HRM Her/His Royal Majesty

HRM Halifax Regional Municipality (Canada)
HRM Hotel Restaurant Management
HRM Hrvatska Ratna Mornarica (Croatian Navy) 
 Systems. Comter currently holds another contract with the Department of State to support end-user help desk development, requirements and analysis for GEMS-related issues.
