Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Receives a $1.5 Million Contract to Provide Digital Over-the-Horizon Modems.

) announced today that its Orlando, Florida-based subsidiary, Comtech Systems, Inc., has received a $1.5 million contract award from a foreign prime contractor to provide its digital flagship adaptive over-the-horizon modems for integration into a military communication system. Comtech's state-of-the-art digital modems will be used to replace a previous generation of Comtech's equipment and enable the end customer to take advantage of the expanded features resident in the new modem.

Comtech was chosen to provide this equipment based on its field-proven, high-data rate 8 Mb/sec digital over-the-horizon modem, and the backward compatibility See backward compatible.
