) announced today that its Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp., has received a letter contract not to exceed $13.6 million, with initial funding of $6.7 million, for mobile data communications data communications, application of telecommunications technology to the problem of transmitting data, especially to, from, or between computers.
