Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Receives $1.9 Million Contract for High Power Amplifiers.

MELVILLE, N.Y. -- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq: CMTL) announced today that its New York-based subsidiary, Comtech PST Corp., has received a contract valued at approximately $1.9 million for broadband, high power RF microwave amplifiers from a domestic military customer.

These amplifiers, which are used in communication applications, utilize the latest in solid state transistor technology. This technology provides for a smaller amplifier with more efficient performance than current industry standards. Delivery of these one kilowatt amplifiers are expected to be completed by December 2004.
