) announced today that its Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corporation, received orders totaling $1.8 million for its Mobile Aviation and Ground Satellite Data Communications data communications, application of telecommunications technology to the problem of transmitting data, especially to, from, or between computers. 2) -- Blue Force Tracking Aviation (BFT-AVN) program. BFT-AVN relies on the Model 2011 satellite transceiver to provide real time position reporting, air traffic avoidance, and sharing of situational awareness information over extended mission distances.
