Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Awarded $3.4 Million of Orders for Satcom High Power Amplifiers.

MELVILLE, N.Y. -- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq: CMTL) announced today that its Melville, New York-based subsidiary, Comtech PST Corp., has received $3.4 million of orders for high power amplifiers from a leading OEM in aviation electronics and communication systems.

These amplifiers are utilized as part of satellite communications systems which provide commercial mobile airborne-to-satellite-to-ground communications service. The terminal provides operators with the ability to access Inmarsat's Aero-H and Aero-I service for aeronautical satellite communications with multi-channel voice, fax and data capabilities. These orders supplement a significant installed base of over 2,000 Comtech high power amplifiers previously delivered to this customer.
