Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Announces $20 Million Contract for Tactical Over-The-Horizon Microwave Communications Equipment.

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq: CMTL CMTL Chief Military Training Leader

) announced today that it has received a $20 million contract from a foreign military customer for tactical digital over-the-horizon microwave communications equipment.

The contract was awarded to Comtech's Orlando, Florida-based subsidiary, Comtech Systems, Inc. Comtech Systems will supply the complete communications system In telecommunication, a communications system is a collection of individual communications networks, transmission systems, relay stations, tributary stations, and data terminal equipment (DTE) usually capable of interconnection and interoperation to form an integrated whole. , including tactical over-the-horizon microwave radios, its state of the art 8MB adaptive digital modem, as well as multiplex and cryptographic equipment and power generation equipment. The 4.5 meter mobile antennas will be supplied by Comtech's St. Cloud, Florida St. Cloud is a city in Osceola County, Florida, United States. The population was 20,074 at the 2000 census. As of 2006, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau is 24,249 [1].
