Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Announces $1.6 Million Contract Award for Power Amplifiers.

MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 16, 2003

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq:CMTL) announced today that its New York-based subsidiary, Comtech PST Corp., has received a contract valued at approximately $1.6 million for solid state, broadband, high power amplifiers from an international customer.

These amplifiers, which are used for electromagnetic interference and compatibility testing, utilize the latest in solid state transistor technology. This technology provides for a smaller amplifier with more efficient performance than the current industry standards. Delivery of these amplifiers, which range in power from 250W to 1KW, are expected to begin in July 2004 and be completed by September 2004.
