We are excited to be working with Conexant platforms and look forward to further cooperation in the near future."

In Comsys' EDGEware(TM) demonstration, a SMIQ base station emulator modulated a data stream (a real life digital picture) and transmitted it over an EDGE air interface to Conexant CX74017 direct conversion transceiver and then to Comsys' software-based modem. The working demo showcased and contrasted today's GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) The first high-speed digital data service provided by cellular carriers that used the GSM technology.
