Compuware Licenses WildPackets' Packet Interchange Technology for EcoSYSTEMS Toolset; ProConvert Enhances Application Vantage and Application Expert Products.

WildPackets Inc., developers of EtherPeek, AiroPeek and other popular network analysis and management tools, announced that they have entered into an agreement to license their ProConvert(TM) analysis interchange technology to Compuware Corp. ProConvert will be used in Compuware's EcoSYSTEMS Application Performance Management Toolset, including Application Expert and Application Vantage, the leading products for production troubleshooting and application profiling.

ProConvert was designed to promote analysis interchange, and is unique in its ability to convert packet traces from over 20 different protocol analyzers See network analyzer. . Compuware recognized the value of enhancing and differentiating the EcoSYSTEMS Toolset by adding the ability to read and analyze data in multiple formats from a broad spectrum of analyzers.
