Computerworld Seeks Visionary Technology Executives for Third Annual Premier 100 IT Leaders Awards.

FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 26, 2001

IDG's Computerworld, an information services See Information Systems.  company for the IT leader community, today announced it is seeking outstanding corporate technology executives and managers for its third annual Premier 100 IT Leaders awards program.

Computerworld is launching a nationwide search for nominations of business and technology professionals who have shown leadership in their organizations through the application of technology solutions to business problems. Computerworld's Premier 100 IT Leaders are individuals who foster innovation and creative work environments, envision innovative approaches to business problems and effectively create, implement and manage IT strategies.

The list of honorees will be published in a special issue of Computerworld in January 2002, and many will attend and be honored at Computerworld's annual Premier 100 IT Leaders conference, February 3-5, 2002 at the Marriott Desert Springs, Palm Desert, Calif.

Eligible professionals include CIOs, vice presidents, business unit directors or e-business managers from a cross-section of company divisions, including but not limited to network management, database management, Web management, help desk, application development, project management, contract management and procurement The fancy word for "purchasing."
