), the world market share leader in radiation therapy planning systems, announced today that it has been awarded a contract to supply Veteran's Administrations hospitals with FOCUS(R) 3-D radiation therapy planning and DynaScan dosimetry dosimetry /do·sim·e·try/ (do-sim´e-tre) scientific determination of amount, rate, and distribution of radiation emitted from a source of ionizing radiation, in biological d.  systems.

"The award of the VA contract builds upon an already record setting pace for the current fiscal year," according to Sprague. "CMS' total worldwide revenue from sales of products and services last fiscal year was $32 Million. First quarter sales for this year has increased 40% over the same period last year. Orders for the second quarter (which ended Sept. 30, 1998) increased by more than 185% compared to the second quarter last year."
