ADULT learners Adult learner is a term used to describe any person socially accepted as an adult who is in a learning process, whether it is formal education, informal learning, or corporate-sponsored learning.  have received a boost to their education by being given 95 new PCs to use for their computer courses.

Cardiff County Council has given the equipment to seven local community education centres in time for this term.

Part of an on-going project between the council's leisure and lifelong services department and Coleg Glan Hafren Coleg Glan Hafren''' is a Further Education college based in Cardiff. The college has over 12,000 students and provides over 800 courses, including Business Studies, Media Studies, Sociology, History and Law.  to improve facilities in the city for older learners, the new machines will improve their general IT skills as well as increasing access to the internet.
