Students of varying levels of computer experience learn hardware fundamentals, quality control principles, anti-static procedures, and diagnostic processes in a 4-6 hour Laboratory at CTL Headquarters in Beaverton, OR. By the end of the Lab, Students are able to assemble computer systems in varying configurations that pass all quality control checks. Students with advanced computer knowledge often have the option of spending the Lab in the Technical Support Department where they gain experience in telephone support and advanced troubleshooting Troubleshooting is a form of problem solving. It is the systematic search for the source of a problem so that it can be solved. Troubleshooting is often a process of elimination - eliminating potential causes of a problem.  techniques.
