Computer Technology Associates Posts Strong Increase in Earnings for 1998: Commercial Revenues Up 170%.


BETHESDA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 27, 1999--

Computer Technology Associates, Inc. (CTA An abbreviation for cum testamento annexo, Latin for "with the will annexed." ), a leading provider of information systems and services, today released their 1998 financial results, which showed an increase across the board.

Most notably, CTA's commercial revenues increased 170 percent to $50.7 million, compared to last year's $18.8 million.

Other noteworthy CTA financial accomplishments include:

-- Revenues increased 27 percent to $117.2 million in 1998 from $92.2 million in 1997

-- Commercial revenues in 1998 comprised 43 percent of total revenues, compared to 20 percent of total revenues in 1997
