Computer Products announces strategic alliance with Alcatel Telecom.

These products allow Alcatel Converters to use Computer Products' modules in the design of communication systems based on both Distributed Power Architecture and Modular Centralized Systems. Annual sales volume associated with the agreement is anticipated to range between $10 million and $20 million beginning in 1997.

The agreement further provides for the granting of a manufacturing license by Computer Products to Alcatel Converters and the possible transfer of technology between the two companies.
