Company's Plymouth Meeting Learning Center Receives Approval

To Grant Associate Degrees

FAIRFAX, Va.--June 18, 1996--Computer Learning Centers, Inc. (Nasdaq National Market: CLCX) ("CLC"), a provider of information technology and computer-related education and training, today announced that the Department of Education has granted Title IV eligibility to the Company's Dallas, Texas and Houston, Texas Learning Centers effective June 13th. Under Title IV, students attending these Learning Centers are eligible to participate in various federally funded financial aid programs.

The Company also announced that on May 6th, its Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania Learning Center was granted approval by the State of Pennsylvania's Council of Higher Education to offer Associate Degrees in three programs of study. This brings to seven the total number of Learning Centers that are approved to grant Associate Degrees.
