For the first nine months ending Sept. 27, revenues advanced by 42% over the comparative 1996 third quarter, while net income was 127% higher, primarily due to continued margin improvements driven by the Company's Year 2000 Solutions business. Revenues were $81,383,000 compared to $57,275,000, while net income was $5,978,000 compared to $2,633,000. Earnings per share were $.23 compared to $.10 on average outstanding shares of 26,093,000 and 25,376,000, respectively.

For the nine months of 1997, net income was $14,903,000, up 85% compared to 1996. Revenues improved by 33% to $226,846,000 from $170,338,000 last year, while earnings per share increased to $.58 from $.32 in 1996.
