Computer Horizons Appoints New Board Members.

MOUNTAIN LAKES, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 1, 1999--

Computer Horizons (Nasdaq: CHRZ), today announced that William J. Murphy and Earl L. Mason were elected to its Board of Directors. This appointment increases the number of directors to six.

Mr. Murphy is the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Computer Horizons Corp., a position he has held since 1997. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Murphy was a partner in the accounting and consulting firm, Grant Thornton LLP where he was in charge of its New Jersey practice. Mr. Murphy has been affiliated with Computer Horizons for twelve years, responsible for the annual audits and other services rendered to Computer Horizons while at Grant Thornton LLP.

Mr. Mason is the president and chief executive officer of Alliant Foodservice, Inc., one of the largest broadline foodservice distributors of food and food-related products. Prior to joining Alliant, Mr. Mason served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for the Compaq Computer Corporation for three years. Prior to Compaq, Mr. Mason served as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Inland Steel Industries, Inc. and as president of Inland International, the company's international marketing, trading and distribution arm. Mr. Mason has also held senior positions at Digital Equipment Europe and AT&T.
