"As we began taking a fresh look at Computer Games Magazine, which has always been a solid performer for us, we discovered that our readership had evolved over the years from being just computer game enthusiasts to more broad-minded pop culture consumers," said Doug Brisotti, president of theglobe.com's games division and new publisher of Computer Games Magazine. "As our readership is also very faithful, we wanted to find a way to offer them more without a complete overhaul of the magazine they have supported for more than a decade. So, instead of changing the soul of Computer Games, we are simply adding to it."

Moro, who has been a well-recognized name in consumer entertainment and genre media since the 1980s, was tapped to be the Entertainment Editor of Computer Games and oversee the creation and ongoing creative direction of NOW PLAYING, which will have its own editorial pages as a magazine insert in Computer Games.
