) today announced that its SOFTWORKS, Inc. subsidiary has signed a contract with one of the world's largest financial institutions under which that company will standardize its U.S. data centers' key Information Technology (IT) functions on SOFTWORKS' products.

Under the terms of the five-year contract, which stipulates certain details remain confidential, SOFTWORKS' DataStor and Performance Arena products will become the standard systems management solutions for the financial institution's data centers across the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. .

The two product sets, DataStor Arena and Performance Arena, address the critical IT functions associated with data storage and system performance optimization. SOFTWORKS' DataStor Arena redefines and extends the common processes of enterprise storage and data management. SOFTWORKS' Performance Arena derives maximum performance from mission-critical systems and applications.
