Computer Associates Signs Cooperation Agreement With Belgrano University.

Agreement Was Signed During Charles B. Wang's Visit To Argentina

Computer Associates International, Inc., today announced that it has signed a cooperation agreement with the Belgrano University to formalize and expand its relationship with one of Argentina's best regarded universities.

CA's objective is to develop an Academic Partner Program to complement Belgrano's technology curriculum. This program would provide hands-on experience with Computer Associates software - which is used by most of the Global 1000 businesses - on a world-wide basis for information management, project planning project planning - project management , enterprise management and many other mission-critical tasks.

CA's Jasmine jasmine (jăs`mĭn, jăz–) or jessamine (jĕs`əmĭn), any plant of the genus Jasminum of the family Oleaceae (olive family).  software will be installed at the School of Systems Engineering and at the Technological Laboratories of Belgrano University. This software will be available to faculty, students and staff for research purposes and for community projects.

CA's Jasmine is the first and only industrial-strength pure object database that features a fully integrated multimedia development environment and the openness to integrate with existing applications and data. With Jasmine, developers can create an application once and deploy it without change, easily across the Internet, intranet, extranet or client/server configurations. The University of Belgrano (UB) was founded on September 11, 1964 by the rector of this fine institution, Dr. Avelino J. Porto.
