Computer Associates Augments CA's Commitment To Notes/Domino Market With Acquisition Of QXCOM.


ISLANDIA, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 2, 1998--Increasing its commitment to the Lotus Notes/Domino market, Computer Associates International, Inc., (CA) today announced the acquisition of privately-held QXCOM, Inc., one of the leading software providers for the Notes market. Financial terms were not disclosed.

QXCOM has been a market leader since the 1989 introduction of Notes -- providing both consulting and software products to many of the world's largest and most sophisticated Notes and Domino installations in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. The company grew out of a strategic reorganization of Distributed Systems Distributed systems (computers)
