Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) today announced that CA's NetworkIT Pro has been selected to be a provider of network management for NetWorld+Interop 98 Atlanta, the definitive networking event. The event is taking place October 21-23 in Atlanta, GA.

NetworkIT Pro will assist in proactively managing the entire NetWorld+Interop network infrastructure --the InteropNet-- and all managed network devices. It will be used to auto discover all computing computing - computer  equipment on the exhibit floor. Using this information, NetworkIT Pro will empower the InteropNet's crack technical staff to effectively monitor and solve any problems arising on the network. NetworkIT Pro's extensive event management capabilities can provide the InteropNet NOC (Network Operations Center) A central or regional location for monitoring a large network.
