Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) today announced agreements with two of Thailand's most prestigious universities - Chulalongkorn University and King Mongkut's Institute of Technology King Mongkut's Institute of Technology is a system of technology-oriented universities in Thailand. Currently there are three universities in the system:

 enterprise management software into strategic educational programs, and establish on-campus training centers.

 the agreements, the universities will standardize on Unicenter TNG for enterprise management, and make the technology available for use in undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

"As businesses today run in increasingly complicated multi-platform environments, there is a real need for software that manages the entire technology infrastructure," said assistant professor Sartid Vongpradhip, head of the Computer Engineering Department at Chulalongkorn University. "It has become essential for us to introduce relevant courses in the area of heterogeneous IT management. With Unicenter TNG, we've found a robust, flexible, end-to-end management solution that matches our requirements."

Unicenter TNG will be introduced into the curricula of the School of Computer Engineering at Chulalongkorn University and the Faculty of Information Technology at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology. The establishment of authorized Unicenter TNG training centers will encourage leading-edge research in third-party development applications running on the software.

"We saw a demand for quality courses that focused on enterprise management, and chose to add CA's Unicenter TNG into our core curriculum," said Surasit Vannakrairojn, dean, Faculty of Information Technology at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology.
