Compudigm and Teradata Deploy Enterprise Visualization, Customer Marketing and Data Warehousing Solutions for AEG.
LAS VEGAS & DAYTON, Ohio -- Compudigm International and Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR), announced today the deployment of a series of visual business intelligence and data warehouse solutions for AEG, one of the top sporting, entertainment and hospitality companies in the world.
The technology will help AEG centralize all customer and marketing data; provide visual business intelligence tools for more effective analysis and marketing; and support the accelerated business growth that AEG anticipates.
"We traditionally relied on basic information and instinct to determine purchase drivers," said Bret Leece, vice president of Strategic Marketing Services at AEG. "We selected Compudigm and Teradata to consolidate our customer information and provide a toolset to improve our analytical capabilities."
AEG is leveraging Compudigm seePOWER[TM], an enterprise data visualization solution that presents information as intuitive pictures of business operations. Compudigm is also delivering seePOWER[TM] Profiler[TM] and Visual Reporter[TM] to identify, segment, track, visualize and report on customer behavior as well as corporate performance.
Teradata is providing the Teradata Warehouse, which provides a foundation for the enterprise data warehouse and is the most scalable and easily managed relational database on the market. NCR is also providing its Customer Power solution that will give AEG the ability to deliver highly targeted e-marketing messages.
"The solution gives AEG two key capabilities," said Andrew Cardno, Compudigm founder and chief executive officer. "AEG can segment customers for more targeted e-mail campaigns with simple wizards, and it can easily generate insightful spatial and nonspatial visual analysis or standard reporting on the performance of a campaign, event or venue. The way seePOWER presents information visually is one of the keys to making these processes take place faster compared to analyzing the same information in numeric tables."
Rob Berman, vice president, Retail Industry Solutions, for Teradata, added, "AEG represents the new breed of diverse entertainment and hospitality companies that realize the critical importance of the data they collect. To make better decisions faster, based on all the data they collect, AEG needed a platform that provides unrestricted access to the lowest level of data captured, by any associate, any time, and Teradata provides just that. We look forward to helping AEG reach its goal of selling more tickets and merchandise more efficiently."
Compudigm delivers groundbreaking Business Intelligence solutions based upon its seePOWER data visualization technology, enabling enterprises to transform oceans of disparate data into actionable, visual intelligence for significant competitive advantage. Compudigm, founded in 1997, is dedicated to enabling enterprises to see their business clearly by animating, illustrating and infusing maps, floor plans, and product, engineering and scientific diagrams with comprehensive business intelligence.
