CompuServe Selects I/PRO -- Internet Profiles Corporation -- to Provide User Registration and Measurement Capabilities for the World's First $1 Million Internet Scavenger Hunt.SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 20, 1995--I/PRO(TM) (Internet Profiles Corporation) today announced that CompuServe has selected the I/PRO System to provide user registration and measurement services for the $1 Million Internet Hunt from CompuServe, which begins July 14 and runs through October 27, 1995. The first of its kind, the Hunt is expected to attract more than 13 million participants worldwide who will navigate (1) "Surfing the Web." To move from page to page on the Web. (2) To move through the menu structure in a software application. the World Wide Web in search of answers to various clues. I/PRO will deliver both the I/CODE(TM) registration system and the I/COUNT(TM) tracking and analysis system to CompuServe for use during the Hunt. During an initial registration process, all participants will provide basic geo-demographic data and receive a unique I/CODE. This I/CODE will enable the participant to both join the Hunt and to continue to participate over the life of the event.
