CompuDyne Awarded Security Contracts for Two New Embassies; $3.4 Million in Attack Protection Products; Embassies Are in Mali and Sierra Leone, Africa.


HANOVER, Md. -- CompuDyne Corp. (Nasdaq:CDCY) an industry leader in sophisticated security products, integration and technology for the public security markets, today reported that its Attack Protection unit was awarded $3.4 million of new contracts to provide bullet, blast and attack protection windows and doors for two new embassies.

The contracts of $1.8 million for Barnako and $1.6 million for Freetown represent the third and fourth projects awarded to Norshield out of a group of eight projects bid by the U.S. Department of State in late 2003.
