CompuDyne Announces $9.5 Million of New Awards for July, 2006.


ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- CompuDyne Corporation (NASDAQ NASDAQ

Public Safety & Justice had $3.9 million in selections, awards and maintenance renewals.

Attack Protection had $2.5 million of awards.

Institutional Security Systems reported awards of $2.0 million. This includes the $1.7 million Concord, North Carolina Concord (kän-kord) is a city in the U.S. state of North Carolina. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 55,977. It is the county seat of Cabarrus CountyGR6 and a winner of the All-America City Award in 2004.  award announced on August 10th.

Integrated Electronic Systems had $1.1 million of awards which includes $0.6 million acquired as a result of the recent acquisition of Signami.

Expected projects "pipelines" at all of our businesses remain quite active and awards in the second half of 2006 are expected to be higher than awards in the first half of 2006.
