) has appointed Dan Markowitz to the position of vice president of sales for its central region. Markowitz joins CompuCom after 25 years of experience within the computer industry. Most recently he was vice president and general manager for Future Now.

Markowitz's responsibilities include overseeing the company's corporate sales efforts in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin. He is responsible for growing current business and building new business particularly in the network services realm.
