systems for the hospitality, restaurant and specialty retail industries.

Designed to give touch-screen users the same flexibility enjoyed by purchasers of CompuAdd's traditional POS systems, the series comprises three different screen choices and two touch technology options. As a result, users can configure up to six different touch-screen systems to match their application needs and budgets.

One technology (capacitive) operates by sensing a human finger directly against the screen. This makes for extremely fast operation and minimal maintenance in most environments. The second technology (analog resistive resistive /re·sis·tive/ (re-zis´tiv) pertaining to or characterized by resistance. ) is ideal for environments where the wearing of gloves makes direct screen contact unfeasible. Either choices can be paired with an active matrix or dual-scan color LCD, or with an MVGA (Monochrome VGA) The designation is sometimes used for a non-color laptop screen. It should more accurately be called "gray scale VGA," since monochrome means two colors; for example, black and white and no shades in between.  monochrome screen.
