Compu-DAWN Announces Name Change to Myturn.com; Company Seeks Broad Based Internet Alliances.

Compu-DAWN, Inc. (NASDAQ:ETVC), a provider of Internet-based, e-commerce computing products and services, today announced it has changed its name to MyTurn.com.

Chairman, R.E. "Teddy" Turner IV explained, "We believe that the name MyTurn.com more accurately reflects the company's primary business strategy in conjunction with our pending asset acquisition of Global PC, Inc., the developer of the full-featured, low cost GlobalPC personal computer that we expect to retail for less than $300." The company estimates that approximately 60% of American households, and 98% worldwide, currently do not have access to the Internet. Furthermore, with its potent GEOS operating system and fully integrated suite of application software, the GlobalPC offers a viable alternative to the more technically complex and expensive personal computers currently sold by IBM (NYSE:IBM), Dell (NASDAQ:DELL), Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HWP), Compaq Computers (NYSE:CPQ), Apple Computers (NASDAQ:APPL) and others.

In related news, the product introduction of the GlobalPC to consumers through such retailing powerhouses as Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT) and K-Mart (NYSE:KM) has been rescheduled for sometime during the second quarter of 2000 in a limited number of markets.
