Composite Dimensional Fabric: No. 7,384,681; Kirkland Vogt and Jane Armstrong, assignors to Milliken & Company, Spartanburg, SC.

Composite Dimensional Fabric: No. 7,384,681; Kirkland Vogt and Jane Armstrong, assignors to Milliken & Company, Spartanburg, SC. Filed 2/22/05. Issued 6/10/08.

A composite comprising a relatively thick substrate was granted a patent. It has a face and a back and is comprised of textile yarns. The face has a surface that exhibits local contouring due to the substrate having areas of different thicknesses. The composite further comprises a sheer fabric that covers and is attached to the face of the substrate. The local contouring is visible through the sheer fabric.
