IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 26, 1997--SELECT Software Tools (NASDAQ:SLCTY) a leading vendor of component-based modeling tools, today announced the launch of SELECT Enterprise(R) for Smalltalk, the latest addition to the SELECT Enterprise product line.

The new product, consisting of SELECT's core component modeling tool, SELECT Enterprise, and a Smalltalk generator, is available immediately and provides integrated component modeling for Smalltalk developers. With this new product, SELECT is expanding its market coverage to include targeting developers using one of the first true object-oriented languages.

SELECT Enterprise is the core product in SELECT's component development tools suite, SELECT Component Factory(TM) (SCF), which includes component and data modeling tools, repository and process support tools, and upcoming tools for component wrapping.
