"The recently passed Canadian DNC legislation underscores the international need for compliance solutions like TeleBlock[R]. TeleBlock has already been adopted and is in use by many Canadian call centers." said Dean Garfinkel, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Of Compliance Systems Corporation.

With the passage of this new legislation, Canadians are now able to avoid unsolicited telemarketer calls by registering with the national Do-Not-Call list. Telemarketers found in violation of the list could face fines of up to $1,500 for individuals and up to $15,000 for corporations.

Call Compliance's TeleBlock[R] system automatically checks the various DNC lists, and then blocks any calls from going out to consumer telephone numbers on these lists. It takes the responsibility for compliance out of salespersons' hands. In addition, TeleBlock provides third party verification and historical tracking for any regulators inquiry. In the nearly ten years TeleBlock[R] has been in existence, the system has handled more than six billion error-free calls, and not one subscriber has paid a fine or penalty.

Garfinkel continued, "We are pleased that these Canadian-based companies have realized the value of our technology and we look forward to partnering with additional solution providers. This recent development aligns with our growth strategy of extending the company's global reach."
