Completion Of Its Notes Tender Offer.LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 22, 1998--INVESCO (NY) Asset Management, Inc. (formerly LGT LGT Light LGT Lateral Gene Transfer LGT Lifeguard Training LGT Locomotiv GT (Hungarian rock band) LGT Lattice Gauge Theory (physics) LGT Liechtenstein Global Trust (bank) Asset Management, Inc., the "Company"), a subsidiary of AMVESCAP PLC, announced the completion of its fixed spread tender offer for the purchase of any and all of its 6.875% Senior Notes due December 15, 2006 (the "2006 Notes") and its 6.50% Senior Notes due December 15, 2001 (the "2001 Notes"). The tender offer expired ex·pire v. ex·pired, ex·pir·ing, ex·pires v.intr. 1. To come to an end; terminate: My membership in the club has expired. 2. at 5:00 p.m., New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of time, on Tuesday, July 21, 1998. Pursuant to the tender offer, the Company purchased $140 million principal amount of the 2006 Notes and $90.25 million principal amount of the 2001 Notes. Following the tender offer, $10 million principal amount of the 2006 Notes and $9.75 million principal amount of the 2001 Notes remain outstanding. The notes were purchased for cash at a price per $1,000 principal amount of each note purchased, calculated by reference to the yield to maturity of referenced U.S. treasury U.S. Treasury Created in 1798, the United States Department of the Treasury is the government (Cabinet) department responsible for issuing all Treasury bonds, notes and bills.
