Annual Laser Fax Guide Finds Canon LASER CLASS 3170/3175 Series

Proclaimed "a strong vendor at all levels of the fax market," Canon received awards for its LASER CLASS 9000L, LASER CLASS 3170, 3175, and 3175MS. Featured prominently on the cover of the annual Laser Fax Guide is Canon's popular LASER CLASS 3175, the fastest printing facsimile in the industry.

The LASER CLASS 3170 features a 17 page-per-minute (ppm) laser printer engine, up to 1200 dots-per-inch (dpi) resolution, Super G3 technology to transmit documents at 33.6 Kbps, a 30 ppm scanner, large document memory, and 70-sheet document feeder. Ethernet connectivity and Canon's MultiSpot software are optional.

The LASER CLASS 3175 builds upon the 3170 model by including an additional 7 MB of fax memory standard and a second letter/legal paper tray that holds an additional 500 sheets. The LASER CLASS 3175MS incorporates all of the above features and comes standard with a PCL 6 printer board for parallel port printing. Available options for both the 3175 and 3175MS include Ethernet connectivity, Super G3 Dual Fax Lines, a duplex printing unit for double-sided printing, an envelope feeder, Post Script 3, and 2 MB and 4 MB fax memory upgrades.
