Step-by-step profusely illustrated instructions for knitting twenty five one-of-a-kind garments, accessories, and home accents (including knits KNITs - Koordinatsionity Nautschno - Informatsionity Tsentr (Coordination Scientific Information Center, Russian military) for babies and children), result in a comprehensive course in all the knitting basics along with the essential tools and techniques required for successful knitting. Of special note is the 'Stitch Library', the practical advice on correcting knitting mistakes, a knitting glossary, a list of abbreviations abbreviation, in writing, arbitrary shortening of a word, usually by cutting off letters from the end, as in U.S. and Gen. (General).
